Just Needing a Few Things… Just traded locally, here is a nice looking Suburban LT that runs and drives well but you’ll need to address a couple small points with. The 5.3L V8 starts right up and runs strong with no apparent leaks but has a noticeable misfire which could be as simple as a set of plugs but I don’t get into fixing so that’s how it is. The transmission shifts through the gears, brakes feel good, suspension tracks straight and 4-wheel drive works as it should. The gauge cluster like many Chevy’s has a short and everything works on first start up but soon after you lose all the gauges and instrumentation. The carpets are clean and intact, driver’s seat shows cracking and wear but the rest of the upholstery looks nice, dash is healthy and headliner is tight. There are no bad odors inside. The fan for the heat/AC is not functioning but at highway speeds, the air coming through the vents is warm. The body of truck looks decent overall with shiny black paint, dents on the lower rear quarters, scratches throughout and rusty rocker panels which comes to be expected for the year. If you know Chevy’s and want a fixer-upper for a fraction of the cost, this one will be sold with no reserve so thanks for looking and good luck with the auction.
